The Explorer's Preschool

The Explorers Preschool is a two or three day per week program, offering a 3-hour program.  The 3-hour program begins at 9:00 and ends at 12:00. Days of operation are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  We are in session September through June, following the public-school schedule.

At The Explorers Preschool we offer a theme-based curriculum.  Every two weeks has a theme and every day we discuss a different topic pertaining to that theme.  We will integrate this theme into most activities throughout the day.  We will have fun learning through play, doing art projects, simple math and language games/projects, cooking and indoor/outdoor play.

 

We will focus on teaching many necessary skills to help your child be successful learners.

 

     Cognitive Skills:  Letter sounds, Counting and Matching numbers, Shapes, Colors, and Sorting.

     Social Skills:  Sharing, Taking turns, Role play, and Group Activities.

     Communication Skills:  Express needs and wants, Answer question, and Tell stories.

     Personal Skills:  Self-help skills, Wash hands, and Basic manners.
